For me “Holistic Heaven” sums up the Holmed Clinic.

There is an ambience of pleasant professionalism at the conveniently-located, accessible clinic.
As a woman with a complex, ever-changing chronic condition, I have extensive experiences of matters medical – some good, some poor.

What I especially like about ‘Marvellous Margaret ’the Osteopath and the elegant, ever-efficient Therese who provides a welcoming reception service, is that every patient is treated as an individual.


They manage patient privacy and dignity by listening to personal preferences and adapt to the needs of those of us with disabilities with empathy and respect.

Margaret is a woman of high scruples, never pressing for more appointments than are necessary.

Clear explanations are given and as she works within individuals’ comfort zones; this is particularly important for those of us who suffer acute pain and have stiff joints and sensitive skin.

I feel metaphorically and actually ‘in safe hands’ at the Holmed Clinic and will continue to use it with confidence and to recommend it to friends and family several of whom are already benefitting from the pleasant professionalism that is assured at every treatment.

When I first rang Margaret Gul I was feeling desperate. I had twisted my neck the day before trying to put a baby seat in the car and was hardly able to move. The pain was so severe that I was unable to work and being self employed this was a real problem as no work means no pay.

I saw my GP who recommended that I see Margaret. I was really anxious as I had not had any osteopathic treatment before. I need not have worried, Margaret was really understanding and her treatment was very gentle. She put me at my ease and explained everything she was going to do in advance. I was amazed that after just one treatment the pain was sufficiently reduced for me to be able to work the next day. After a few more treatments I am now as good as new.
She's given me good advice on how best to look after my neck with some useful exercise which I find really help to keep me mobile. If I ever get a problem again I would certainly not hesitate to go straight back. I am recommending her to all my friends!
